I began reading this book about four weeks after a dear friend developed this disease. She was still on a ventilator so she couldn't speak, she had very little ability to move, experienced overwhelming anxiety, and was always feeling extremely hot. Reading Sherry`s story helped me understand some of what my friend was going through, and as such, gave me insight as to be a more help to her. Sharing many of the same physical symptoms, Sherry and my friend also experienced many of the same emotional symptoms. Once my friend found her voice and shared some of the same fears and helplessness that Sherry mentioned in her story, I found the words to be of some comfort to my friend. I am happy to report that Deb is coming home soon. Although she has a long journey ahead of her, stories like Sherry`s give her the knowledge and resolve that she too will find her happily ever after.Product details
